Started to work my way through Karin Slaughter's books. So far so good, although I somewhat wish my imagination was not this good.

Working my way through George R. R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire...I've just finished the 5th book A Dance with Dragons and quite sad that I have to wait (possibly years) before the next book is published.... :noo: :noo: :noo:

I feel your pain, I finished the books 2 years ago now,it has been a long long wait. Hoping we'll see the next one in 2014

...if he finishes it in time!
5 years between A Storm of Swords (2000) and A Feast for Crows (2005)...then 6 years until A Dance with Dragons (2011)...

The books I reserved at the library are still 'on their way' (have been for what seems like eternity) so with the movie out decided to give How I Live Now a go. We'll see, we'll see.

I've just reviewed 'Remains of the Dead' by Iain McKinnon. This is his 2011 follow up to 'Domain of the Dead' and is more or less a straight-up action horror tale.

As it sometimes takes a long time to get reserved books from my library, I'm working my way through several different series. Done with book one of Tess Gerritsen's Rizzoli & Isles (so different than the show! but I like it) and now reading first Jack Reacher by Lee Child. So far so good, more reservations made :)
