Re: Travel deals
Chiltern Railways London to Birmingham 25p each wayPay 50p for a return, but journeys must start in London
Ldn-B'ham
Chiltern Railways is offering 26,000 London - Birmingham 50p return tickets (or 25p single). We haven't official confirmation of how many tickets are left, but we managed to get 50p ones for a Saturday late on Tue 10 Sep evening, so we wager a strong bet there's still plenty (we'll update you when we know more).
Go via the special Evening Standard link for Chiltern Railways to p*y 25p each way for a mainline fast train ticket from London Marylebone to Birmingham Moor Street. You can book a single from London to Birmingham or a return from London (but not the other way round, the journey has to start in London). See the full T&Cs.
The offer's valid on selected train journeys from Mon-Sat, till Thu 17 Oct or till the tickets have gone.

Re: Travel deals
FREE £10 RedSpottedHanky voucher code*10,000 available in four batches throughout Thu 19 Sep
Go QUICK!
We've blagged 10,000 completely FREE, no-min spend, £10 codes for train booking website RedSpottedHanky* from Thu 19 Sep (for new and existing users). As an added bonus, when you next book a journey costing £20+, you'll also receive £5 free credit.
As RedSpottedHanky giveaways have been MEGA-popular, you'll need to move fast as it's on a first-come, first-served basis.
Here's how to get it:
As the weekly email takes more than 18 hours to send, to give everyone a fair chance, we're holding off releasing the codes until Thu 19 Sep. They'll be going out in batches of 2,500 at the following times only: 10am, 1pm, 4pm and 8pm.
It's limited to one voucher per household. Please only get a code if you'll actually use it.
The link for the codes will go live HERE - Thu 10am
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/ ... _content=1
Here's what you need to do:
•When the link's live, enter your postcode and email address via the link above (you'll only be able to get the codes at those times if they're available).
•If there are codes left, a unique code will instantly pop up on screen - it'll also be emailed to you within 48 hours.
•Use the free £10 by Tue 31 Dec. To use it straight away, enter it at the 'payment' stage. To save it for later, add it on your ‘my account’ page, then use it when you need it on the payment page.
•As an added bonus, after the £10 freebie, book again and if you spend over £20, you’ll get another £5 added automatically to your account (within two weeks), to use till Tue 31 Dec. You cannot use the free £10 code against the £20 booking, but you can use the combined credit (£5 and £10) against a future booking.
The credit's valid across the entire rail network (excluding Northern Ireland and sleeper services). If you have any problems using the codes, call 0800 377 7748 or email redspottedhanky@atos.net.

Re: Travel deals
London Midland trains £15 day travelDownload voucher to hop on & off London Midland trains for one day
From 2 Oct
Get one day's unlimited off-peak day travel from any station on the London Midland route (see full pdf list of stations) for £15. Funnily enough, the route is mainly stations between London and the Midlands, but it does stretch as far as Liverpool too.
There are three steps to get this deal:
• Simply fill in this online form and print off the voucher.
• Take it to any London Midland station from Sat 5 Oct to b*y a ticket for travel.
• The valid travel dates are Sat 19 Oct to Sun 3 Nov.
You can hop on and off routes for any one day as long as the train departs after 9.30am on weekdays and any time on weekends. Standard tickets will cost £15 (child £5) for all-day travel though Railcard holders get standard tickets for £9.90.
Generally, the longer the journey the bigger the saving. A standard super off-peak return ticket from Liverpool to London costs £29 so with the £15 day pass the savings add up. Some shorter distance journeys may come out cheaper than £15 though, so always check first.
As there are 50,000 vouchers in total, the key here is to download one as soon as you can in order to guarantee you'll get a £15 train ticket in advance of when you actually plan to travel. Otherwise, the last date to get the voucher if they're still available, is Sun 3 Nov.
