The Bill - ITV Axes the Bill After 27 Years

#1 Post by the fox » Fri Mar 26, 2010 6:49 pm

Can’t believe ITV are axing The Bill after 27 years.

I’ve been a fan for the last 14 or so years but soon it will be no more come autumn.

I think it all went wrong when they jazzed it up with a new theme tune, watershed viewing time and the loss of the number of times it repeated in the week.
ITV won’t be the same!

My son and I are disappointed about this as it will mean no more Eddie looking for the forensics - we both think he is so funny....

I love Eddie, he's such a funny dry person.

On a sad note, I work for Talkback, so many people going to lose their jobs as well as the actors. some have worked at Merton for 20 years or more. I don't work at Merton but I could be losing my job as well as it has repercussions over the whole company.50/50 whether I get made redundant :crying:
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks
