For i- devices, it's under Settings, Wifi, the network being used, then if you expand details, there you go.
No idea re macs, I don't use them.

Re: IT Help, Please
I'm trying to delete my history from google chrome. I go into the three horizontal lines in the corner, go to history, delete and I check everything. It appears to have deleted, but when I open google again, all my previous sites show up. Now this way used to work, but in the last week it hasn't. Can anyone help please?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: IT Help, Please
Hold Ctrl+Shift+Del and the delete history box pops up. Make sure everything is ticked and the drop down box is set to "beginning of time"Sunny Saver wrote:I'm trying to delete my history from google chrome. I always delete from beginning of time, but this time I did it via Ctrl, Shift and Delete, but still history is still there.alameals wrote:Sunny Saver wrote:I'm trying to delete my history from google chrome. Re: IT Help, Please
I have a portable hard drive that I back up my stuff onto, but can someone also recommend an online storage facility (is that the right term?), where I can back up please.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Re: IT Help, Please
I use box.com because when they first started they offered 50gb for life for free. I use Google drive for some odd word documents. Depends how much space you need who offers you the most. You have box.com Google drive. Sky offer space and Dropbox. Remember the uploading can take a seriously long time to do compared to an external hard drive

Re: IT Help, Please
Can anyone recommend a good anti-virus software for DD as at Uni now and although she has downloaded free anti virus software it doesn't seem to be much good as her PC is now running slow. Probably a stupid question but if I b*y one to protect 3 PC's I assume that they don't have to be at the same address (I am a bit dim at times). Thanks for any help.
