Cut out unnecessary fat: One of the best weight-loss tips is to prepare recipes with non-stick pans. Much of the fat used in the preparation of meals serves to prevent sticking during the cooking process.

Watering plants with tap water: City water is treated with chemicals. Plants don't like chlorine or fluoride, so allow the tap water to sit in an open container for at least 24 hours prior to using it on your plants. This is enough time for the chemicals to dissipate and evaporate from the water.

Using a new terra cotta pots: If you're using a new terra cotta pot, soak it in water for a few hours before you plant in it. New terra cotta is so dry that it will rob moisture from the soil leaving the plant thirsty.

Apple cider vinegar for weight loss: Put 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a glass of water and drink before each meal. The apple cider vinegar has properties that actually kill fat cells.

Common cold: Cut up some garlic and ginger into a cup until the cup is about 1/4 full. Add half a lemon (diced) and fill with hot water. Stir and let set for 1 minute. Strain and add honey for taste. Drink and go straight to bed.

More soon :)

Avoid getting a sore behind when cycling by simply placing a naan bread over your bike saddle. This will add comfort to your ride and when you reach your destination, hey presto! A warm low-calorie snack.

:rofl2: I've heard it all now! Is there any guarantee it will be still in one piece if you've been sitting on it? :muhaha:

Think you should also post this on the Weight Watchers thread, Preston. Hope you had a couple on your saddle during your last two marathon cycle rides.

Are you sure this is low cal ? Comfy certainly but the naans I'm used to are like delicious carb-rich duvets. Maybe a multiple fajita option would suit the buns...

Fresher—bananas, plastic bag

If you store bananas in a closed plastic bag, they will keep at least 2 weeks on your counter.
