Re: Date Night
Yes and as ususal they will send a reminder two days before, the info on the tickets might have changed then.
Re: Date Night
I enjoyed this more than I expected. Very silly plot with some great lines and a couple of hilarious scenes, as well as some fairly contrived ones. Good fun. 7.5/10 from me.

Re: Date Night
Saw this last night in Edinburgh, Westerhailes. Almost full, and, as usual, people coming in late with popcorn etc. when the film has started and most annoyingly standing discussing where they can get a seat!!! Most distracting!!
A good laugh at some of the scenes - loved when they jumped in the motorboat to speed off - very funny. 7/10

review
saw 'Date Night' enjoyed it very much and so it seems did most of the audience-wacky and funny- without being asked to laugh-the humour just emerged from the action much like the best tv sit coms e.g.Fawlty Towers though in a very different genre-would recommend to anyone.

Re: Date Night
I thought this was good but I was expecting it to be - perhaps even better. I like both Fey and Carroll and I am a fan of their type of comedy, so much so that when I went to Chicago a few years ago I made sure that we stopped by the Second City Comedy Theatre. They both came through there and I have to say it was a hilarious night and worth the trip alone! So as you can imagine I was expecting great things when these two Second City veterans teamed up together.
Really with that kind of expectation I was setting myself up to be disappointed. It was good and it definitely had its laugh out loud moments. Mark Whalberg was unexpectedly comedic in his role (or maybe I got all giggly when he was on screen for other reasons...).
Many minor roles were played by well known faces. You should get a decent laugh so it is def worth watching but I was expecting it to be that and more 8/10.

Re: Date Night
I sent them a grovelling email yesterday as i forgot to reply to the original date change one on time and they emailed me straight back my tickets to print off as a PDF file, no codes.elski wrote:has anyone that had 30th march tickets been sent links to a new ticket or are we supposed to try to get them through a code?
I replied as soon as I got that change of date email but had nothing back and the old ticket link still says 30th March.
Re: Date Night
Saw this at the Gate,Newcastle last night. The cinema filled up very quickly and was rather impressed the movie cam on without any trailers.
Thought the film had a nice story to it and although as others said it was a bit slow getting into it there were plenty of laughs to make up for it... Thought the robot dance and the scremaing taxi driver were fab.. and after seeing pics in a magazine of an over weight Mark Wahlberg I was pleasantly surprised... by his tools!
The boyfriends new phrase is "Zip your V*****"
Quality film 8.5/10

Re: Date Night
Yup the "Zip your V*****" was pretty funny though funnier on the end reel.
Thought it was funny (still thought Hangover was funnier) but well worth a watch ... it won't dissapoint.
Cinema Delux in Leicester was completely full ... people got turned away. Pretty unlucky.
