Divergent

#1 Post by elski » Sat Mar 08, 2014 2:29 pm

released 4th april

The facebook page posted a link to the first 6 chapters of the book and just read it on a coach journey. They're a good introduction to the series I think, tempted to by the rest of the book and read it now.

I love the first book, it's my favourite YA dystopian novel (I even prefer it over the Hunger Games) but it goes rapidly downhill after that and the final book is a bitter disappointment.

I almost cried at the last book. I told my mate not to bother b*ying it!
I still thoroughly enjoyed the first book though, its just a shame it went downhill :(

I went and had a nosey at the fan event on my way to meet jeanelle today so here's a few of the things you can do.

register for a wrist band

then with a wrist band you're allowed to parcipate in the various tests

have your pic taken against a green screen so that you can be instered on a poster with the stars

What I call a 'hill movie' - hard going plodding up hill at the dull start, but more vision and meat in the middle of the movie, then a return to mediocrity for the ending.I thought the lead was kinda weak though I appreciate her character development. But Zoe Kravtiz - what a creature.

ok, but doesn't have the hooks of Hunger Games.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
