A good turn out of Edinburgh fmukers tonight and time for a chat while waiting in the queue before we went in.
Enjoyed the film although at 140 minutes it was rather long. 7/10

Really enjoyed this apart from all the rustling of sweeties etc going on.
Did not know where the time went at all.
Great to hear there are to be three films in this series. Can't wait until the next one.
At least we all got in, got seats and were warm so definitely things looking up again
8/10 from me

After seeing it on Sunday I thought perhaps with time my opinion will change. It didn't. So here it is.
I didn't love it, but fortunately I didn't hate it either. I just found it blah in that generic kind of way. Would have preferred to watch it on my couch, as it felt long so it would have been nice to be able to fast forward or grab a drink from the fridge instead of sitting there in the midst of swooning teenagers. None of the performances stood out to me and the story was as predictable as they come (and no, I have not read the books) so if anyone asks I'll feel ok to tell them they can live without this movie.
6/10

Nearly two and a half hours of mind-numbingly boring, badly written and cheap looking rubbish. It was the cinematic equivalent of trying to chew through a doormat. I can't believe so many people here enjoyed it - you're mad! Mad I tell you!
