Couldn't find a thread covering information on cinemas which surprised me. If I've missed something please move this to a relevant place.

Any way for some people on here it may be useful to know that there is a planned strike at The Ritzy in Brixton on Friday 11th April.

Interesting, as well as possibly useful to some, cliveas - thank you for this. I wonder why it's just at one London PH site, given that PH has several?

Well the reason for the strike is the insistence on the adoption of The London Living Wage. Whether junior staff are pa*d more at the other London PH cinemas or the staff there are more militant I couldn't say.

The cinema will remain open, but the staff striking is encouraging their members to show their support by not going to the movies on Friday.
