I wish I knew but there wasn't a problem on the other 3 sites we have been on, just here. I suspect something wasn't done right when the popup was added.

I know its such a shame as I cant do pretty pictures like the smart people on the site or extra smilies like you can, love the please one, so just have to make do with the ones on the main board.

Would it be possible to move the Happy Birthday, Cheerleader and some of the others that folks use a lot on to the main board - at the side - or is that too difficult?

From what it seems, the bbcode for the smilies above somewhere appear when you click them...
Copy/paste that or just write it into your post and it'll appear as it should.

Off site smilies are easy to insert. Once you found your smilie, copy the url link and paste it into your message. Then place the img tag around the url. You can do this by highlighting the url and clicking in the img box above the message window or typing the code manually, Image after the url. Then again, you could click on the img box first then paste the link into the middle of the boxes.
Its how I did this. Image

Forgot to mention, the smilie problem only seems to affect internet explorer, other browsers have no problem at all with the popup box. :confus:

I think it's high time we had a new smilie from AYBG, don't you? Are there any that we don't use very often, and we can get rid of, to make room for some fresh ones?

And does anyone else have the same problem as me - I can use the original batch of smilies, but cannot use any of the others (view more smilies).

I have that problem if I open it with IE but if I use any other like Safary or FF I can get to use them . But in short you are not alone :tears:

What happens is the code which is supposed to appear in the main edit window, actually appears in the pop-up window right at the top (most of the time, sometimes nothing appears). You can copy and paste the code from there to the main window, but its a hastle as you need to ensure that there is a space on both sides of the code - ie if you have consecutive smilies there must be at least TWO spaces between the codes.
