Game of Thrones has been renewed for seasons 5 and 6 even though only one episode of season 4 has aired.

finishing Salamander the Flemish political conspiracy tv series, actually pretty good if you can put up with all the grim men in beards sort of thing.

In The Flesh - whilst I am not sure why this had to replace Being Human, no one can accuse it of not being fresh, being the first post zombie apocalypse drama. Some nice plot elements but not a patch on BH. Why does it have to be set in Yorkshire anyway? Surely Londons a better place for zombie shows, its full of them all ready. Yorkshire is far too lovely and friendly and really doesn't wear all this doom and gloom well.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Unfortunately, bloody Iplayer Deleted Salamander from my Skybox, when I was only on ep 7. I shall have to aquire it somehow :shifty:

I've been on a massive catch up with Person of Interest and Blacklist both interesting shows.

I've not seen In The Flesh but I was so into BH that maybe I won't bother :undecided:
preferred locations Shepherds Bush, Westfield, Notting Hill, Central London, Wimbledon, Islington, Wandsworth thanks

Salamander, bit of an anti-climax end then. Kind of a slog in the end.

Not so with Line of Duty. This is so good I could finish this in one night.

I concur.

Can anyone who is familiar with the movie Fargo enlighten me as to how they both compare?
As noted in another thread, I had no idea what to expect in terms of ?comedy, ?horror, ?thriller. STill somewhat unsure tbh, but loved it none the less.

Martin Freeman with an American accent? Quite convincing I thought.

I thought it had a similar but not identical vibe to the film (which is well worth checking out as it's one of the Coen's best movies).

A lot more happened in the first episode than I expected, performance wise I thought Thornton easily stole the show but really wasn't convinced by Freeman's accent.

Overall a promising start (I'll give it an 8/10) and definitely a show I'll be sticking with...
