Caught OH at the lentil dahl yesterday before I got to the dentist at 10 :nono: It was tasty though. Have a temporary cap on a tooth now and was told to be careful... OK will stop chewing on rocks!! I have been looking at 'soft' food. Obviously a sign of things to come. I chose onion and mushroom owlet for tea.

Not much to report for today, it's OHs turn at the dentist and have no idea what the day will hold. A mystery day.

Thank you for your support and I shall take myself in hand Preston and asamaic. I have b*ght a new fitness DVD - Josie Gibson - and we'll add a bit of variety there. I'm not too fond of swimming because I don't like to get my hair wet but I'm going to go tomorrow and do a few lengths - ease myself in.

I have found a delicious Minestrone soup recipe which I want to share with you all - it's very filling, and only 94 calories per serving!

Keep up the good work everyone :D

Hows everyones weight loss going? I lost a further kilo by not eating. Im nearing my 1st goal soon. Have still got to start to exercise. Maybe start with fast walking. I had started the couch25km program last year and did the first few weeks.

Well done rapunzel brilliant weight loss and good luck with the exercise. The soup recipe sounds good Andrews and enjoy your new DVD. It looks like a few of us aren't doing much with being so quiet.

Well, I've only lost a pound overall this week, on account of the blow out meal with an old friend I hadn't seen in a while. I refused to share a bottle with him, but I did go for three courses (admittedly some of the most healthy choices on the menu) and that made my weight rocket up overnight.

Today I'm off for the three day blow out (otherwise known as a wedding), and if one bad meal made my weight shoot up so much, I'm going to be a whale by the end of this. :tears: My gym membership starts today, so when I come back maybe the excess lbs I'll have gained will persuade me to step inside...

My app says I should be losing a lot more each week based on what I'm eating, so I'm confused. Apart from fruit, most things I'm eating are pre-weighed etc so it's not as if I'm logging inaccurately. Weight is still going down though, and I'm focusing on that.

Second tube strike next week, so I'm bound to get more walking in. o/

Hi,

I hope everyone is well and there plans are going to plan.....

I lost or gained zero this week. I did a 10k run yesterday and should have done the same today but it was cold out and I was being a big girls blouse... tomorrow for definite. In my defense, I was out doing a wild flower survey this morning so felt cold during that.

Thanks for the recipe baty. I'll definitely try that out soon :-)

Good luck everybody with you goals for the week. look forward to reading what's happening....

Well done asamaic on the 1lb weight loss that is brilliant. I did do a lot of walking in London on Wednesday because of the tube strike and no cake 8O Met another friend for coffee this morning and no cake again 8O I'm out with another friend tomorrow plus DD at Althorp Hall and maybe no cake again tomorrow  If this continues I will seek medical advice ;) I have been doing some gardening again so have had some exercise but do need a bit (a lot) more. Well I am getting very worried that Diane65 seems to have given up cake. What is the world coming to?

I have a tiny drop of GPRS, so checking in while I can. o/

I feel about 4lb heavier today, we really ate far too much at the wedding. But that said, it really was a wonderful wedding and a one off. My stomach does not like binge eating anymore, it's ready to get back on the wagon. Before I started the 'diet', I would have thought nothing of overindulging so. Maybe I have changed for the better?

A good wedding is really hard so soon after having your own heart broken, but I love the groom dearly, and the first time he introduced me to his bride, I had a feeling it might end in marriage a few years down the track. o/ They are a great match, and I'm so very pleased they had exactly the day they wanted. I also managed not to cry in front of either of them, my other dear friends looked after me when I was having a wobble. Definitely counting my blessings at the moment. o/

People remarked on how much thinner I looked, which is great motivation to keep going. Also, I am starting to think that getting fitter is good for 'me' more emotionally - I do feel more confident. o/

Home later today - time to get reacquainted with good habits. o/

Hope everyone else has had a good long weekend. o/

We're definitely missing a few regulars - where are you all hiding? I promise, no matter what you've eaten, you've done better than me these last few days. ;)
