Re: Football
the competition quite neatly began with a full moon, and ended on a night with a full moon, like a huge football crowned the earth above us.
fitting.
fitting.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?
Re: Football
very fitting raj101, didn't think of it like that.
I love it when we have football in summer makes waiting for prem to start that little bit easier.

Re: Football
Just a final thought regarding Brazil. I just cant help but think that they are the most hyped team ever - always have been
Theoretically in my opinion they have had two excellent teams (1970 winners) and 1982 (no defence as such otherwise they would have won)
Since the days of Pele they have lacked a Centre forward of any note, goalkeeper and a defence working as a unit. Aside from the 1970 team they won the World Cup in 1994 and 2002 with no great opposing team. The minute they played a good team in this years competition and added to the pressure of playing at home they were found out. A lot of whats gone before has been due to a fear from opposing teams playing Brazil and a fear generally of one individual (over the years Zico, Robinho, Socrates, Neymar, Ronaldo, Rivaldo)
Guarantee they will not be among the favourites next time round
And how is David Luiz worth £50 million - Jose Mourinho GENIUS !

I can see Louis Van Gaal vying for the spot of being the 'Precious one', season hasn't started yet and he's getting on my nerves.

Can't wait for start of League 1 season. Or rather, I was looking forward to it, until yesterday when Southport stuffed my team Port Vale in a friendly. Oh dear.
