Re: Rest in Peace
he was in something recently too, the Butler I believe, though I might be wrong. Looked very different apart from a hint of that winkling smile.
And Flubber deserves a mention too, one of my favourites when I was a porky little lad for some strange reason..

Re: Rest in Peace
Everyone says what a great comedian he was but I thought he was best in dramatic roles - Dead Poets Society, Good Morning Vietnam, Good Will Hunting. Incidentally Good Morning Vietnam is being shown Sunday night at 12.05 - 2.10am - who can watch at this time!
Re: Rest in Peace
I heard the news last night when it broke and nearly 24 hours later I am still plain devastated.
I loved the man. He entertained me from the time I was 4 literally up until 3 weeks ago when I watched the final episode of The Crazy Ones.
There are no words I can use to convey just how distraught I am. He was a God to me.
This is the order in which I was exposed to his brilliance.
He was equally versatile in both comedy and drama - a genius in every sense of the word with so many good roles still left in him.
Hopefully happiness has found him now.
RIP Robin.

One that may have skipped under your radar, August Rush.
I myself only discovered it a few months back as its my BF's favourite film.

Re: Rest in Peace
I can definitely recommend August Rush. It was on Film 4 last Saturday and has been shown around 4 times this year on Film 4, so keep a look out for it.weliveandbreathewords wrote:One that may have skipped under your radar, August Rush.
