Re: IT Help, Please
As its just the one site then something about the site has changed. First thing is to check if there are any updates for your tv and install them.
A check on google shows this sort of thing has been going on for a year now.
http://community.sony.co.uk/t5/televisi ... d-p/709047
and you may find this site interesting. You are not alone.

Then there's this announcement
http://iplayerhelp.external.bbc.co.uk/t ... n2_iPlayer
does it affect you?

Re: IT Help, Please
I have been having problems on my phone getting my hotmail up for the past week or so now. My phone is huawei y300 and this is only one hotmail/outlook account when using chrome. I can access different hotmail/outlook account on my phone using firefox and using the inbuilt browser. The one I am having problems with is the one I use for my alerts so its causing me problems as although my emails piggy back to work I am unable to follow the links except during lunchtime. The message I get is:
"Cannot connect to the real dub127.mail.live.com - something is currently interfering with your secure connection to dub.127.mail.live.com. Try to reload te page in a few mins or after switching to a new network. If you have recently connected to a new wi-fi network finish logging in before reloading.
If you were to visit dub.127.mail.live.com right now you might share private information with an attacker ......."
I have had this or a similar message previously when using wifi for example in a shopping mall warning me it was not secure but I am now getting this when using my work and home wifi.
Any suggestions appreciated.

I've b*ght a 16GB micro SDHC Class 10 for my smartphone. It's now showing "Available space 14.64GB" but when I tried to download my first app it said "Error while downloading. There is insufficient space on this device"
Any suggestions?

Re: IT Help, Please
Thanks. I'm not sure where the default setting is going. When I go to Settings, SD card and phone storage, it says SD card Total Space 14.64GB and Internal phone storage Available space 19.10MB. I don't know how you check which it defaulting to.bevvy wrote:Have you checked under settings, storage that the default setting is SD card instead of phone?Betty Botter wrote:I've b*ght a 16GB micro SDHC Class 10 for my smartphone. Re: IT Help, Please
Yahoo isn't letting me into my account this morning, it's just asking me for my password on a loop. So I changed my password but it's still the same thing. But OH's account where a code to change password was sent to, is accessible. What on earth is going on? I need to get to my emails! This is from my iPad btw.

Oh ok, I got it back after reading a suggestion of deleting cache and restarting browser. Makes no sense to me but it worked. Very strange.

Re: IT Help, Please
Right, so I had this problem twice more since yesterday. Why does this keep happening and how can I stop it? It's time consuming having to clear cookies every time and annoying having to input login details afresh everywhere. Grr. Any thoughts?

Re: IT Help, Please
Its not cookies but internet files that need removing. Its possible that there is a setting for how far back in time you can delete those files. I suggest "the beginning of time" if its available. Do that and you will have to always download the latest version of the files you are using and then not have a problem.
Its always a good idea to clear out the cache as your browser will always check to see if you have a local version of the file first and use that, and it causes problems with some sites as you have found. You should also be able to change your browser settings so that you always download a newer version of the file if it exists. Where those settings are found I have no idea - I don't use Apple products.
