When you're out all day without a plan, you grab whatever you can get (and it's never healthy!) and you find you have no time to work out. If you know you're not going to make it home for something calorie-controlled, absolutely, taking food with you is the way to go. I need to take a leaf out of your book.Diane65 wrote: I've got over 2 stone to lose so it will be a long journey for me too. I do understand that it is a different ball game with health condition but as asamaic says we're all in it together.
I could actually eat while visiting at the hospital so will need to take healthy food with me. I don't know why it has never entered my head to do it beforeI'm all there organising fish and chip suppers, cake evenings etc (I run across to the local chip shop etc) on the ward to keep a happy atmosphere (we have Saturday night as party night ha ha - I did ask I haven't just gone in bossing everyone around). So there is no reason why I wouldn't be allowed to eat my dinner there (it will have to be something to microwave or a cold meal).
2015 is going to be a good year.
Why is it so much easier to eat unhealthy food, it's not fair!!
Diane65, where will fmukcon be in March?
January is going to be horrifically busy at work, but we do have a fridge, kettle and microwave, so I need to keep some healthy food in for those evenings when I can't get away til really late.
Let's all try to keep posting - I think the lesson from 2014 is when we go silent, we're falling off the wagon and staying off. The more we say how we're doing (even if it's to admit being naughty), I think the more we're likely to succeed.
