Well I chuckled the whole way through this film, mainly because of the writers poetic licence to decide for himself what actually happened that night. Yes they did mingle but end up in a brothel....my my...surely not, and bringing Jack home for breakfast with Mummy and Daddy was one step to far. Still it was a happy viewing and no one was killed so not a bad wee night out.

I will be tuning in to tonights C4 documentary as I feel they might be closer to the truth. 6/10

Don't worry. I've never been asked. Ushers usually don't care. Problem is only other people waving it in their face.

It oscillated from a really good biopic to bloody Benny Hill!
I loved the soundtrack.
The main actors were all perfect in their roles, but as for those two bumbling officers? They were simply embarrassing. As for that tower of champagne glasses? Who on earth thought that would be a good idea in the script? I have little doubt that never happened, and added nothing to this whatsoever.
Couldn't help thinking that Jack ought to have been Jack O'Connell. Part who have suited him to the ground.

Entertaining and fun.

I agree completely ridiculous, almost like a farce at times, but also quite charming and great fun. 7/10

The documentary starts in about 15 minutes on channel 4 if anyone wants to play truth bingo with the real events

Sorry, couldn't resist!
Well, this was a liar of made up nonsence but it was entertaining enough, especially P2!

Haven't really learned much yet apart from the fact they were actually a party of 16.

Saw this tonight with OH. Didn't really have high hopes for this but it was entertaining enough with funny bits. Always knew Margaret was a bit of a wild child. Obviously this was inspired by true events but wouldn't it had been great if the Queen really had a night like this. To be normal. Everyone was excellent in this. So unrealistic with seeing the couple saying grace before dinner in their blitzed house. Not cos of why but more why were they having dinner after midnight? Funny how the world has changed so much with technology. It won't happen now simply cos everyone knows what the Royal family looks like and there be so many selfies. 7/10

Preference of cinemas:- 1. Glasgow Renfield Street Cineworld, 2. Glasgow Showcase, 3. Braehead Odeon, 4. Vue Fort, 5 Glasgow Springfield Quay, 5. any other cinema in Glasgow area including Hamilton
Also Falkirk, Dunfermline and Stirling but these are rarely used for free previews.

Yawn. I mean the film is hokum but at least it's entertaining hokum. This documentary is just boring and has nothing to say. No wonder the director made it all up.

The truth is so much tamer, isn't it? No buses, pubs, young soldiers, knocking shops... Just a ride through immoral Green Park, LOL. Wish I hadn't wasted an hour on this.
