I won a complimentary overnight stay at Hendon Hall, with drinks and canapés on arrival and then a sumptuous dinner with fine wines. For entertainment jewellery making(!), followed by an a la carte breakfast in the morning!

I only found out yesterday when I got a call, to ask if I am still going as they had a problem with their emails and no one got them!! It's a good job they realised that is the reason for no response! Talk about short notice. :D

Well done McG! Hope you had a great time!

@TheSparrow - The jewellery making was really fun! There were two men in the group, my OH and the organiser, who made a pearl necklace for his mum, and I got to have two - since OH gave me the one he made! A win, win! haha! A great idea for a jewellery party. The dinner was amazing and the breakfast was the best I have ever had, especially the honey from the honeycomb - it is freshly made locally. Honey from a jar will never do now!
