I have a HUGE favour to ask...

I have been offered a once in a lifetime chance to go to Hachette Children's in London for 2 weeks on a placement.
This is a HUGE thing for me, and could possibly determine if I make it into the publishing industry.

My problem is this.
2 weeks.
In london.
Unpaid.

Now I understand it is a huge thing to ask of people who are essentially strangers, but if anyone would be kind enough to allow me to house share for those 2 weeks I would be eternally grateful.
The placement is set to start on the 10th of August, ending on the 21st.
I'm more than happy to help out in the house, I clean up after myself and I'm generally a tidy person, though I'll only really be there for the evenings!
I won't steal your tea/coffee/milk either.

I know it is a huge huge ask, but you'll be making a brummy girl very very very very very very very very very happy.

I was going to suggest the same, sorry wlabw I only stay in a rented room myself so have no space to offer. But when I first came to London I used airbnb for the first few weeks. You can adjust your search by location, facilities and price. I think there was one week where I pa*d £18 a night for a small room in Sydenham, better value than a hostel and quieter for when you have work to to and don't want to be woken at all hours.

Or what about a university hall of residence? I think they rent out rooms. No idea of the cost.
