Ditto! And be sure to come back and tell us how you're getting on. You might not be able to get to screenings, but the rest of the board will still be fun in Holland!! ;)

Had a literally hair-raising day - went in to the toilet at one point and saw my hair sticking all up, LOL. The boss couldn't decide which temp to take on to help out for the next two weeks so I had to play telephone pingpong with the recruitment agency (it's not a marriage, it's just two weeks!), people were running around with crates and parking stuff in inappropriate places as we are getting a partial refurb done at the weekend, and to top it all off, I spent nearly an hour doing a huge train ticket booking for a colleague (he always gives me about 6 weeks' worth) only to have the card decline authorisation at the end! And I know I haven't input anything wrong and we are not out of money - God knows what the bank's reason are, but it was kind of the last straw, after so many people interrupting me all day with "the printer isn't printing normally" and "I URGENTLY need my Orange PAC code" and "so and so is on the phone again and wants to know what rate we are p*ying the temp now" and "have you got a tape measure?" :wall: At one point a colleague said something to me and it sounded like "We've got a flood!" Thankfully, what she had said was "We've got the flat!" PHEW.

Luckily, I had been invited to a swish breakfast in the West End this morning with waffles, strawberry and cream, salmon and muffins, and they packed me a bag full of them when I left so at least I could maltreat my body with sugar all day long!!

I took a day's leave so I could enjoy the weather and go walking. I felt a bit guilty as I was on leave all last week, but it was so cold then that I was glad of the central heating in our rental cottage and was wearing my hat and gloves. Today I needed sunscreen and a sleeveless t shirt and was eating ice cream! (Finally got round to trying the Magnum Gold that just about everyone else sampled weeks ago.)

Beate - I sympathise. I HATE it when internet bookings crash for no reasons. First4movies and showfilmfirst... are you listening?? ;) Breakfast sounds great.

Ms Thrifty - totally agree about the nice weather, especially as my central heating and hot water have died on me. Need to get the gas board out, but...wish I had time. (And had such an awful time the last time, when they damaged my property - broke things, wanted me to sign for work that was not done - it is not something I am looking forward to. Hate the company's systems.)

jmd1983 - veel succes, and have a look at this - http://worldbbnews.com/2010/05/21/cycli ... sam-hadad/

Happy cycling! :D

I'm visiting my family right now for a few days. It's such an amazing weather for this time of year (around 30ºC and no clounds in sight). I went to the beach yesterday and even went for a swim in the ocean. :D
