Showfilmfirst 30 day film challenge

I'm not sure how many people on here are doing the Showfilmfirst 30 day film challenge, but it's quite good fun.

I've enjoyed thinking about old films that maybe I wouldn't have done otherwise even if I don't end up winning any of the daily prizes.

Day 8: Your funniest laugh-out-loud moment in a film.

I don't think anyone in the movies has made me laugh more than Laurel and Hardy and it's tough to beat the tickling scene from Way Out West.

It made me giggle uncontrollably when I first saw it aged 6 or 7 and the many, many times after that and it still does to this day, though probably not as much as Stan...

I have to agree with Laurel and Hardy. Despite many fantastic comedies and performances over the years they are one of greatest double acts in Cinema history. I could quote them 'till the cows come home.

"Hold on a minute while I spit on me hands...." Priceless.

Day 9: The film with the most heroic act of bravery or courage

Spock in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan. The ultimate heroic sacrifice to save everyone else, summed up perfectly by logical Spock himself, the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. A powerful ending that might have even made cold Vulcan Spock emotional.
