I had not seen the original so couldn't compare but found it enjoyable with some funny parts and some yuk moments. Cineworld, Edinburgh was almost full and some women at the back of us were laughing very loudly at most of it.

Saw this in Edinburgh tonight, nice to see Biggins and Alythonian too.

Saw the original british film and actually think I enjoyed this one more. It appeared to be more funny than I recollected. Possibly script was better delivered? Really liked James Marsden, soo funny on acid, and Luke from Legally Blonde.

Lots of laughter at the cinema but folks a wee bit cross being told at 6 to go away and come back later only to find that queue had formed. 6/10 from me.

Can't say it appealed to me, didn't see the original but found this contrived, predictable and not very funny. Only saving graces were the performances of James Marsden and Danny Glover. Can't win them all!!

We saw this film at the Vue in Romford tonight and the cinema was almost empty. Very strange. Because there was such a small audience, most of us had the luxury VIP seats and an added bonus was that there was very little audience noise, except for laughter. Some parts of the film were very funny. I'd give it 7/10.

Me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed it. There were a lot of funny moments right from the start and everyone was laughing a lot all the way through and quite loudly too. 8/10

Thought it was quite funny but I was getting tired and restless towards the end...thought James marsden was great. A bit pointless but funny 6/10

Maybe UK ratings will improve the IMDB average, because the remake currently has a really poor average (something like 4.36) on there. But that depends on how many UK users actually post on IMDB... does anyone here do so?

Did'nt enjoy this. Felt like the script was written around a few toilet humour gags. James Marsden was on good form though.
