Quirky, cookie and whimsical. I was in the mood for something a bit ethereal and that fitted my mood perfectly. I can imagine others being annoyed,frustrated, cheated and bored by it.
I liked the soundtrack.
I thought they did it justice.

Original, darkly funny, heart-warming, nicely crafted, exploratory tale of teenage friendships. Loved it. If you liked 500 Days of Summer you'll like this.

I enjoyed it but some parts felt like it was trying too hard. Also annoyed we didn't find out more about Earl. For me, it was trying to be Juno, but just didn't get its heart in the right place.

It's a good feel good film where a lot of people can relate to the lead character in his comical movie remakes and pursuit of a purpose.

One of those quirky films set to inspire the human spirit maybe, but I found it a bit blah....wouldn't have missed it if I didn't see it. 5/10
