I learnt today that rugby players call the referee 'Sir' or 'Mr'. None of this 'referee is a w*nker' business.

I'm a bit nervous because of all the injuries.

Samson Lee - you wouldn't want to piss him off would you. He could tuck me under his arm and run a marathon.

Did you see the video of the Japanese guy who saw Shane Williams?

With you about the nerves ss, I can barely hope that the Welsh players will keep the fuul team on the pitch for the whole match.
Samson would have to have the strength of his namesake to carry me sround the pitch

Yes sen the Shane vid, he was so patient with the Japanese fan who was totally overwhelmed. Mind you, I might be the same if I met him. Gareth Thomas came to our performing arts department, and met him in the corridor, phworrrr .... he is a really nice man and said he would meet with our special needs students and have a brief word with them. Ithink they did more of the talking but he was brilliant with them. These players are HUGE.
Watching the Italy v Canada to start, much better than I thought it would be.
Getting my corner ready for the match, snacks, drinks, putting the off till the match is over.

Enjoy the match (not sure that is actually possible but you know what I mean), baty and SS. I will watch too but afraid I am a rookie when it comes to rugby rules. It's one of the few sports my brothers did not play (didn't exist in the USA in the old days) so I don't really get it so I need one of you to explain it to me some day please!

Don't ask me, I just know where the goals are and that the ball passes backwards and sideways only, but you can kick it forwards. I still think a try is worth 3 points and that when it comes to taking a conversion the players should be digging their heels in the ground - none of that plastic stand thingies nonsense!

The other thing is the team to support wear the same home colours as Arsenal!!

It is so painful to watch. But not as painful as the knocks the Welsh players had.

And we were singing hymns and arias, Lands of My Fathers, y hyd y Nos!

Excuse the poor Welsh spelling Baty.
