My 3 dots are at top right of screen, they are what you press to get a new tab, incognito tab, bookmark etc, if you go to the bottom of the list it brings up there is a tickbox to request the desktop site.

It all depends on your browser as to where the setting is. You just have to set your browser to download the desktop version of the page and some browsers are not capable of doing so. However other browsers are capable. Two are Google Chrome and Opera Mobile however the android platform also makes a difference.
Chrome is only installable on android 4.1 and above so it needs to be a recent phone for that. Opera however, I have installed on android 2.2.2 so is the choice for older phones.
Then again your built in browser may be capable of doing what's needed in which case a search of google should yield results. Just enter your phone make and model and "browser setting desktop page" into google and you'll find many sites that tell you how to do it.

Its likely that the built in browser cannot do it so download a different browser from the store.
