From shimmering, silken opening to shockingly decadent denouement, Richard Strauss’s Salome is quite simply one of the most overwhelming experiences in all opera. And in Symphony Hall you’ll hear every last shiver and sigh of Strauss’s extraordinary score, as Kirill Karabits brings the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and an all-star cast to Birmingham for one unforgettable night.

You’re Never Too Old – Ashcroft Theatre, Fairfield Halls

We are pleased to have a few tickets for a play – You’re Never Too Old at the Ashcroft Theatre in Fairfield Halls on 7th October at 2.30 & 7.30pm.

When Tommy and Ada meet on a park bench it is all too clear they are from very different backgrounds; but as they begin to confide secrets and recount memories, could this be the start of something special for such an unlikely pair Diane Keen (The Cuckoo Waltz, The Ruth Rendell Mysteries, Doctors) and Graham Cole (The Bill) star in this one-act bittersweet comedy that examines relationships, loneliness and humanity.
