Sorry to jump in without answering your question, but I have another one! The first code says American Express cards will be required, however for the last code in the thread you didn't need to enter anything to do with American Express but it still seems to be an American Express screening. Will we not be allowed in without a card?

Thanks for the info, I'm still trying to decide if I should go or put my ticket back in the pot!

Suzie - the Twitter one didn't work for me either.

No mention of Amex cards at tonight's screening at Ipswich.

Usual tech hi-jinks with the satellite feed for red carpet footage ;)

Around 90% full and really enjoyed the film, picked up and became more compelling before the end even before U twigged who Emily really was.

Screen was usually too dark to see the actors faces
Meryl should not have been on poster as on screen for less than a minute. Highlight was watching bonham Carter on red carpet. Thought she might kill an autograph leecher.

4/10

Enjoy isn't really the appropriate word to use for the film. It was a compelling film and the performances especially Carey Mulligan were excellent

First preview at the new Cineworld at Silverburn, Glasgow and cinema was only about 25% full! 8O
Maybe folk don't know where it is or too far south for the usual cinema folk or maybe too late . . .who knows? The cinema is wonderful . . .how all cinemas should be. . .comfortable seats, plenty of leg room and well tiered so no matter who was seated in front everyone has a perfect view.
I found the film to be very good focussing on one young working woman who grows to the idea of being a Suffragette. Acting was very good by all concerned. Loved the use of real footage at the end. Was gobsmacked at the list of years when other countries gave woman the vote . . .1971 for Switzerland! Almost unbelievable!
Marks 8/10
Preferred cinemas: Best: Glasgow Quay, Glasgow Braehead, Glasgow Renfield Street, Glasgow Fort & Paisley
Others I'd go to: Glasgow Showcase Baillieston

Films already booked for:

Hope to get tickets for: Every film if they come to my preferred cinemas
