Horse Money

#1 Post by RevKeith39 » Wed Oct 14, 2015 6:01 pm

Portuguese art-house movie much feted by critics. Watched it with my wife and friends at Liverpool FACT last night. We were all agreed (a rare occurrence); the worst film we have ever seen! Avoid at all costs.

I sort of guessed it would be from the description and preview on the ourscreen site. I just didn't bother booking any tickets.

One of the advantages of previews is that you can see movies that you know very little about at no expense.

But this was costly, had I known it was some kind of sequel I'd have also avoided. Didn't know it was a musical, it was like being stuck in cinema purgatory.

Unless that was the entire point in which case it was an amazing piece of live theatre. Couldn't believe the positive critical response, or the synopsis come to think of it.

Yes watch it here

https://www.ourscreen.com/film/Horse-Mo ... ignId=1422

It will be time well spent in proving that the movie is a load of boring tedious rubbish.

Whilst it has a highish score on IMDb, the comments are few. So I glanced at some reviews which appear to call it "visual poetry" and after viewing the trailer, I can appreciate that description. Not sure I would appreciate watching the film at home so I probably won't get round to seeing it.
