Not Receiving Email Alerts

1. no problem at all with alerts
2. the occasional glitch but still working most of the time
3. delayed alerts
4. no alerts whatsoever

not sure what a poll will achieve, it's clear there is an issue and most probably don't want to moan about it too much.

if the results are necessary, even just out of curiosity then it should probably be linked to a specific event.

when the next free film is posted, if the poll was 'when did you receive an alert', 1-2 minutes, 3-5, within an hour, longer, not at all, then it would answer the same question with more clarity?

well no-one is doing anything about the current problem so trying to think of something that might get AYBG's attention to see it's affecting more than a small number of us, unless it is a small number of us in which case I'll go back to MSE where alerts work.

It wasn't affecting me until recently, but now it is affecting all my alerts, it took 4 hours to get a pm alert, good job it wasn't important.

I think that last post nails it on the head. Unless and until it affects you, then you don't realise how frustrating it is and why the lack of a solution is driving loyal members nuts.

Has also only just started affecting me.
I only subscribe to 3 threads.

It was a minor irritation that I managed to get round until the changes were made.

Now the whole system is worse than useless to me.
Alerts , if they come at all are hours late. When they do come I waste so much time trying to work out what it is for. I assumed everyone else had the same trouble. Is this not the case?

I would qualify the delayed alerts. a) less than an hour. b) 1-2 hours. c) more than 2 hours. d) more than 24 hours

Similar to The Sparrow. all my alerts delayed, some 1-2 hours some up to 6 hours or more

My delayed alerts are across the board with one for the Regional board taking over 6 hours.
