Screening in Edinburgh almost full by 6.05pm. I went out to get a coffee at 6.15 and there was a long queue waiting to see if there were seats for them. Don't t know how many were turned away.
Film rather long and sometimes difficult to follow even with the extra scenes trying to simplify the terms used.
American films can't seem to be made without the F word being constantly used or calling people MotherF--!!!

Chaos in Edinburgh APU. Vue Omni is a disgrace and Times need to sort them out! Queue of at least 50 when we arrived at 5:45! Then at 5:55 she let us all in, didn't take tickets, no heed of priority tickets in fact they wouldn't know how many folk were in the screening. They did keep seats back and then a stream of lost folk well, 10ish roamed around looking for seats when the film started.... Gee I hate Vue Omni!
I enjoyed the film although it was a bit like being in a work seminar at times! Ryan Goslings bad hair dye job was really distracting!
Christian Bale was excellent.

It seems that the confirmation email that times+ send when you book a ticket is now marked priority, it's on the bottom of the part that looks like a ticket.

The ticket that you print off doesn't have priority marked on it hence the reason that they asked to see the original email.

I think that the way they have it now with priority and standby will only encourage people to come even earlier and with most of the times audience being retired (in Glasgow anyway) we could find ourselves queuing at ridiculous times.

Agreed. It's really bad. If you hit reply to the screening feedback email you get through to them and you can rant at them. They did reply last week.
I can't imagine the film distributors would be very impressed if they are not getting a mixed demographic audience too.

Saw this tonight at a very full Manchester screening. I was left unimpressed, maybe because I had little prior knowledge of the finance world and the jargon was confusing. The cameos from various celebs was annoying and felt out of place. That being said I did think that Steve Carell gave an excellent performance in a very crowded film, but it wasn't enough to convince me it was a good film.

Still think it's one of the best venues tho.

The ticketing situation is bizarre, the only sensible solution is to stop oversubscribing the screenings? Going ahead with a few people not turning up is preferable to turning tens away on the day.

If they want to meet extra demand add extra dates.
