This dystopian rom-com was right up my alley. Loved the 'wooden' acting. :) 8/10

I couldn't agree more!

And I loved the ending as well!

Part of my double header tonight. Zombies followed by the zombie like(in part).

I really liked the first 1/2, it was clever and kept moving. The 2nd half, less so as others have said. It was clever and engaging, just too slow for me.

6/10

The Lobster tonight. I don't know what to say. I left after 50 minutes which is the first time I cannot watch a movie until the end.
I didn't exactly think that it was bad but I just couldn't connect with any of the characters.
It left me cold and indifferent.
It represented a very sad world with dysfunctional relationships between men and women.
Just not for me.

Saw this tonight for the second time and found it so much better on a second viewing. I actually got it this time. Still weird. Still annoying in parts. Did find some bits funny too. Definitely a case of not bad, could do better.

Cineworld Unlimited is cheating! ;-)

I found this to be a bit weird and annoying. Definitely a piss take on society's obsession with coupledom. If you are not into very arty films then don't bother.

Watched this at a free screening recently for the DVD release. Very interesting concept and excellent performances, unfortunately found the story loose its way in the 2nd and 3rd acts. Needed to 'get out of the woods' in my opinion, would still recommend though and out on dvd already so check it out.
