Had Rooney Mara been nominated for LEAD actor and Cate Blanchett for Supporting, then BOTH actors would have won multiple times in fact IMO a clean sweep of all major award

The evidence is there to see after yesterdays 14/02/2016 BAFTA and previous awards despite spellbinding performances by both

Members voted chosing NOT to reward the film with the Female in BEST and SUPPORTING roles because of this reversal but the valid nominees

Whilst I do like immensely projects Christian bale appears in, the Big Short was an ensemble cast and CB was part was very minor compared to others, that he and not other is odd

CB again has been nominated for the Oscars whereas Benecio Del Torro NOT and Tom Hardy Oscar nominee, absent from Bafta ?
Quentin Rodriguez & Robert Tarantino

I think I read somewhere that Tom Hardy was filming a new Series, and would not be attending BAFTA.
