Turns out Vanity, one of Prince's girlfriends, also passed away this year at age 57.

He was greatly loved by my father and I and indeed my whole family. He transcended boxing and was a great civil rights activist. A legend in his lifetime, an incredible man and a great loss to the world.

So sad to hear of the passing of Muhammad Ali . . . he was definitely the Greatest when I was young and was such a special man.... a man who showed that he had great principles. May he rest in peace.
