Mike And Dave Need Wedding Dates

#1 Post by Yinster » Tue Aug 02, 2016 9:14 pm

Just back from Glasgow Fort. I wasn't going to see this as I was scheduled to work. However I did change my shifts about. OH loved it. Laughing out loud a lot. Me not so much. I did enjoy it. However I didn't really like the girls' characters which is probably why I didn't love the film. The film also drag for me as it tried to tell a story. 6/10

Busy showing at Edinburgh OT. Wasnt expecting much prior to seeing the trailer recently then thought it had potential. Tend to fear the worst from any Efron comedy.

Thankfully the film matched the trailer and was decent overall. Lots of silliness from the main characters and some funny set pieces. 6/10

Zac Effron's character was the least offensive in thus pretty formulaic piece. Found the girls pretty annoying. Where did the bride get that squeaky voice it was like running a nail down a blackboard!!
It was fine, passed the time and was entertaining enough without requiring me to engage a single brain cell.
I never need to see it again.
5.5/10

Snap, chelle1973! I saw this at a fairly busy Braehead and went with fairly low expectations as I thought it was going to be a lot of crude jokes aimed at a teenage audience. However, I did find it rather good fun. Ok it will never win any awards but it was a reasonable midweek watch . . .and best of all, it was free!

Saw it at Derby, screening almost 80% full (therefore why so difficult to get tickets) mostly women (did they expect a chick-flick?).

I enjoyed it, LOL moments and was just what I expected :)

Rather enjoyed this; far more than I thought I would. The outtakes were pretty funny too. 7/10

I saw it at the Birmingham Vue Star city
Found it funny all the way through especially liked ''the outtakes ''
I thought it was National Lampoonish style
Why do they only release so few tickets to these events ? the screening was only to about 40 people in a 120 seat
