Brilliant! You know if there are enough fans, its worthwhile doing something like this because some other network may get interested and pick the series up.

There was a series called Jericho (with a high concept theme) which in very similar fashion improved as it went along but ratings dropped. But there was a big enough fan base that got together and posted (I think cornflakes) to the studio bosses relentlessly and guess what? They resurrected the series for another season! Then it got cancelled again as the ratings got even worse and no mountain of cornflakes was going to ressurect it a second time, lol.

Deep down I really would like Flashforward to be picked up again by some network. The odds are very much against that happening though...

Finally got around to waching the final episodes of Flashforward and ...Lost!

I really enjoyed Flashforward - it was innovative and I liked getting to know all the characters and their stories. What a shame that it's been pulled by the TV company. The same happened a couple of years ago to a Sci-Fi show which I enjoyed. Did anyone watch Invasion? It was shown on Channel 4 on Sunday evening. The excellent William Fichtner (Prison Break) was Sheriff Tom Underlay. It dealt with the aftermath of a hurricane, where water-based aliens were taking over Florida. Great stuff - plug pulled on that one too.

What a shame that the plug hadn't been pulled sooner on Lost. What a dismal endng - I had guessed as much - but really - 6 series - 23 or 24 episodes - that's 6 days of my life - why oh why did I bother? Disappointing ending - no satisfying ending for me.

Aww, I actually really enjoyed Lost ending but I understand some of the backlash. It was a spiritual ending rather than a science fiction or action packed ending. I enjoyed this series mostly because of the eclectic mix of great characters and in the end these characters was what the ending focussed on completing a circle and I dug that. I rate the whole 6 seasons as one of television greats. Not the very best but close.

Never saw Invasion but wow, great SF concept! Another series that I loved and only lasted one season was Journeyman. It was kind of like Quantum Leap but highly enjoyable. Its just it was poorly marketed and shown at very late times. But in this case the makers cleverly created an alternated season end episode in anticipation of the cancellation which gave pretty much gave answers to almost everything! So its worth watching the series when its on TV knowing you will get answers in the end!

I wasn't enjoying that much the flashforwards in the last series of Lost, and the revelation that it was a limbo just made it worse for me. My boyfriend is in denial and made up an alternative ending in his mind.
