I've just realised the travelodge I had been looking at is a mile away from the station and not the one on its doorstep

Well, I will be staying closer to Woodhouse Moor than the station because TheyCallMeMrGlass and I will be doing the parkrun there in the morning! If anyone is mad enough to join, it's a free timed 5K run in the park at 9am, so plenty of time (even at my slow pace!) to toddle back and get showered and changed before FMUKCON kicks off.
Here are the details for anyone who's interested:

London to Leeds train tickets now on sale at £15.50 each way. psychic Diane was right...how do you guys predict these things??! :)
I'll be coming on Friday and leave on Sunday. Looking forward to that Parkrun before the FMUKCON meetup, asamiac! Anyone else wishing to join us or even come to chill out in the park itself, watch us runners run aimlessly in circles, will be welcome :)
I am also staying right next to that Park (Woodhouse Manor) so can I quicky change/refresh before meeting up with the coolest gang in the world for our FMUKCON
Also, for anyone staying overnight on Friday or Saturday night and if the skies are clear, I will be bringing my telescope along (no, I wont be out of the city this time!!) and invite you all for close up views of Jupiter, Mars, our moon and maybe our nearest galaxy Andromeda if the light pollution in Leeds is not too overwhelming. Then you can all go to bed :)
