Hi,

I'm a scriptwriter, got started a long time ago on sitcoms like Benson (RIP Robert Guillaume), Family Ties, etc., have also done Tv movies, a feature, and script doctoring. Based in London, working on a horror feature and a drama at the moment, also having fun getting into making some short films (creative control at last!) and I sometimes teach at Raindance. My books include "Your Creative Writing Masterclass" and "Your Writing Coach" (both published by Nicholas Brealey) and Creativity Now (Pearson).

All-time favourite classic films: Lawrence of Arabia, The Godfather.

Favourite mainstream yet obscure-ish film: Gone, Baby, Gone

Recent favourites: Get Out!, Baby Driver and a number of series on Netflix or Amazon, including Curb Your Enthusiasm, Unbreakable (the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), and Breaking Bad.

Favourite offbeat "insider humour" series: Toast of London.

End of exposition!

Hi. I'm Charlie. I'm a teacher in Bedford. I've always loved movies with early memories of going to see the original Star Wars and Jaws at the magnificent Granada cinema. Long gone now and replaced by a Lidl. Sad times. I like many genres but sci fi tops the list along with big budget popcorn movies. I use meerkat movies a lot so will often see movies I wouldn't want to p*y full price for! Most recent movies include The Snowman, Blade Runner 2049 and Limehouse Golem.

Hi I'm Laura, just joined and love movies. I'm a devoted Wittertainee and wanted to take this opportunity to say hello to Jason Issacs of course. I'm a mature student changing career in mid life and finances are extremely stretched. Going to the movies in London is extortionate and so I'm hoping to access some freebies if at all possible to help with the much curtailed cinema visits. Anything in central London and Islington would be most welcome indeed. If I have tickets I go so little chance of them being wasted and happy to feedback on the experience if thats helpful. Not very computer savvy re these type of threads etc so bear with me, but I found you all which is a start and am optimistic that some good films may result from it. Thanks :)

I am a senior, retired person living in Norwich and I love movies. I worked as a secretary most of my life. My first movie was The Oceans Between Us which was a brilliant movie. I look forward to becoming part of the community here.
