Well I would love to throw my FAT into the ring but I know it isn't the right time for me to start. Since my husband died in January I have found it difficult to adjust to making meals for one and when I make too much instead of it going to waste it goes to Waist.Preston1990 wrote: Let's all make a determined effort to make 2018 the year in which we get to grips with our fitness, weight-loss and general well-being goals. If anybody else feels like throwing their hat into the ring too, then please feel free to do so and join us - the more the merrier!!

However, on a positive note, I know that I eat too many carbs which turn to sugar so I am going to start slowly by cutting down on bread- too many sandwich lunches, also potatoes, rice and pasta and put more veg on my plate instead. I go swimming once a week but will try after my holiday to go swimming twice a week and walk more often. Slow and steady and hopefully a better result than cutting down too much and not sticking to it.
Start your day with porridge Preston as it will keep you fuller all morning when you are doing so much exercise first thing - don't overdo it and make yourself ill.

Will watch the Musketeers progress and wish you all the best for a healthier 2018.
