Disillusioned cops, ex convict, robbers, indiscriminate killing and violence, this is definitely a hard and tense watch. Incredibly long too!
Exceptional performances from Mel Gibson and Vince Vaughn as the dillusioned cops. It tells a tale of the desperate measures to get out of poverty, by any means by both cops and ex convict. Stylishly and brutally told, as it hurtles to its ending, which I kind of guessed. At the end, I felt like I was dragged acrossed concrete too! 8/10

Re: Dragged Across Concrete
Was pretty riveting, with careful build up of characters to make it superior cop tv style, like a really decent near 3 hour episode of the Shield with a better script. Mel Gib reminds me of the Max Payne character from that game we used to play, hard boiled detective...there even felt like there was 2 references to the game in it, but surely a coincidence.
fav 5 films of the year - Tenet, Bill n Ted 3, Invisible Man, JoJo Rabbit, ?

Re: Dragged Across Concrete
This movie only got a short run 1 week run
After the brilliant Bone Tomahawk I missed Brawl in Cell Block 99 so determined to see this
There are two scenes which stand out the second is a spoiler as I would have to describe it here is the first
Neil McCauley Heat : (Robert de Niro)
"Your money is insured by the federal government, you're not gonna lose a dime! Think of your families, don't risk your life. Don't try and be a hero!
Reason for the comparison another robbery
Lorentz Vogelmann Dragged Across Concrete (Thomas Kretschmann)
"Don't put money above having a heart beat"
Dragged Across Concrete 150 minutes I like 8/10
