We've teamed up with the BFI to offer readers this chance to win a pair of tickets to see two important early Peter Sellers appearances rescued from obscurity, reconstructed as completely as possible, and now returned to the big screen in new BFI National Archive restorations. Both films provide a valued insight into British comedy history and, specifically, chart the beginnings of Sellers' rise to stardom.

Let's Go Crazy, shot around the same time, is a ramshackle but entertaining selection of variety turns, with memorable performances from Spike Milligan and particularly Sellers, playing multiple roles, from Guiseppe, a waiter exasperated by demands for 'boiled beef and carrots', to an anarchic mock-Groucho Marx.

On the 27th July, two valuable early Peter Sellers performances, rescued from obscurity, are to be shown at BFI Southbank, London. These screenings have been timed to coincide with the BFI DVD release of these classic early Peter Sellers performances.
We've got two pairs of tickets to this event, and three copies of the new DVD to giveaway. To enter, just fill in the form below...
Terms & Conditions: This competition closes on 27th July 2009. The winners for the tickets to the BFI will be picked a week earlier on the 20th July. Only one entry per person. The decision of the judges is final. Winners will be contacted by email after the competition closes. The winners of the tickets to the screening will need to make their own way to BFI Southbank in London on the 27th July. The screening starts at 6:20pm.
