I was gutted that I missed out as have lots of other trips that I fancy doing.

Just been checking and the Kelvingrove museum opens at 11am on the Sunday so could get there for then. I went to a ceilidh here a few years ago and it was brilliant. Be good if we could find somewhere with live music on the Saturday evening to soak up the atmosphere but no problem if not your sort of thing (be as blunt as you like with me).

I will be looking into nice places that we can book for lunch. I am fairly free tomorrow evening so I can have a good luck and come up with a few suggestions. I have only been to Glasgow twice - once 20 plus years ago and then about 3 years ago for a conference so I was in lectures all day so didn't see that much so if I suggest anywhere that isn't as good as you like please just say.

Just about to book here for lunch. Seems a good selection of meals including Scottish ones which will be lovely to embrace the whole Glasweigan culture.

Hope that this good for everyone. They take bookings, it fits in with the itinerary that Asamaic has planned (I may need to fine tune (interfering busy body that I am) the timings plus the reviews are fabulous.

Hate to mention it but as it is only three weeks away now is everyone okay with travelling on trains etc with the coronavirus outbreak?
