Re: Identification for Free screenings
I did not get ID-ed for Bruno at Castleford, even though I had been asked for ID when I had been at Castleford before (Anvil and Marley).
Re: Identification for Free screenings
Those ID check are pretty random. But I would say 90% of time you wont get checked. You are more likely asked for ID when it is a very popular movie!!
It seems staff in WIQ check more than others.

Re: Identification for Free screenings
No they don't, the staff there are usually pretty clueless and uninterested. That was security from outside for Bruno I think.
Re: Identification for Free screenings
I think the staff on the screen floor are very clueless. But I got ask for ID check more than once when I ask staff on ground floor which screen for preview. Surely you can get away easily by asking someone else.Beate wrote:No they don't, the staff there are usually pretty clueless and uninterested. That was security from outside for Bruno I think.

Re: Identification for Free screenings
I vaguely remember that someone was recently asked for ID for a preview at Whiteleys - can't remember who it was or what it was for (but def not a blockbuster like Star Trex or Bruno). I did note it as I was surprised - I've never been asked for ID at Whiteleys in the past although I do find their staff are quite cold about not letting people in once they say it is full! Anyway, I wonder if they are getting more strict there, definitely makes me a bit more cautious with that cinema now.

Re: Identification for Free screenings
I was asked for ID there when I went to see My Sister's Keeper. It wasn't full or anything and that's the only time I've been asked. I'm going to West India Quay next week and am terrified I'll be asked for ID, as someone kindly gave me the tickets so they won't have my name on. vxplatining wrote:I think the staff on the screen floor are very clueless. Or you can just send anything to the address as I doubt they actually read it or care.
An email of "dsdsfslgsslgjd" to changeofname@seefilmfirst.com will get the same response which you can print off.
