Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
I won tickets for the itunes festival last year... I applied to everything they had. However I ended up getting tickets to a band I was not too keen on! This time I am being selective....

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
I really wanted to go to Hyde Park tomorrow but I was too slow off the mark for tickets - sold out by the time I checked.
KoL may show off some new songs - they played some at the Bonnaroo festival a couple of weeks ago and I had a listen, sounded good!
If the weather holds up and they are in a good mood (even if they are not!), I think it will be a fantastic concert - hope they play a good mix from all the albums, I did like the last album but some of their gems are from earlier work. Have a great time! Wish these would come up on SFF lol!

I seem to be the only person who got some - mind you , they are for Ozzy Osbourne + Sword.superhero wrote:Nope no itunes tickets for me either
I applied for everything - I like the element of chance.
Whilst I am quite happy to go to this I am struggling to find anyone I know prepared to come with me!

Thank youu! Oh wow, new stuff! Hope they do play a song or two! I think it will be a mix of everything as it is a one off show and not a uk tour or anything.opas wrote:I really wanted to go to Hyde Park tomorrow but I was too slow off the mark for tickets - sold out by the time I checked.

If you are still looking for company, I would love to see Ozzy live. I am not a fan, would just like to see him perform live!

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
I'm really sorry 5rannoch - too late I'm afraid. ucakpam pm'd me a couple of days ago offering to come with me. I didn't think Ozzy would be so popular!
I have now won tickets for Kate Nash + Darwin Deez at i-tunes. This is going to be a very eclectic musical week for me - Ozzy on saturday, Japanese violinist Taro Hakase on sunday, and Kate Nash on tuesday!
Surely someone else out there has won tickets - looking back to this time last year loads of people on this site had won . This person on e-bay certainly doesn't seem to have had any problems winning some this year

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Disgraceful. Selling tickets that cost them nothing for as much as £60. I hate people who do that kind of thing. How did they decide the prices? Poor Tony Bennett. £10 for two tickets.bevvy wrote:Surely someone else out there has won tickets - looking back to this time last year loads of people on this site had won . I think it's harder this year because it's become so much more popular. An article in the Guardian at the beginning of June said that over 2 million people had applied for the 60,000 tickets on offer. That's figure has probably got even higher since the Metro started talking about it and giving away tickets.
I remember back in 2008 when it was at the Koko, tickets were given away through the Evening Standard and I managed to get tickets to about 6 of the gigs. Last year when facebook became involved, I only won once and that was despite it moving to a much larger venue.
I'm still crossing my fingers for The National + Stornoway, but I definitely won't be p*ying out £25 to some rip-off merchant on ebay.

Re: Music Concerts/Gigs
Thanks again for taking me with you to see Ozzy, bevvy. You're a
And congratulations for winning tickets to yet another itunes festival gig.
It's incredible how this guy managed to get so many tickets and is selling them on ebay!!
I also won tickets to several gigs last year through the evening standard and my boyfriend won tickets to one gig through facebook. But neither of us has won anything so far this year (and I applied through 3 or 4 different places).
