I went to see this delightful film yesterday at the Cineworld, Boldon, and was amazed at how busy the cinema was - full of families and young kids, and me. I saw it in 3D, and am glad I did. I had a free Cineworld ticket, and I asked the price to get in - £8.80 for an adult, so Mum, Dad and 2 kids would soon add up, wouldn't it? Not a cheap couple of hours out.

Several trailers were shown, many of which were in 3D, including Up - count me in for that one - loved the trailer, and also G-Force - looks very good at this level. Also there were trailers for 'Aliens in the Attic', 'Alvin and the Chipmunks2', 'Bandslam', 'Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs' and 'I love you Beth Cooper'. (Yes, that's right - 7 trailers!)

I thought Ice Age 3 was well done for adults and children. There was something of a storyline, easily followed by younger children. I loved Syd, and Bert in particular. I have not seen the other two Ice Age films, though my son has kindly recorded Ice Age 2 for me. I do things in reverse sometimes, don't I? I'll have to watch it soon to see how they compare.

7/10 from me.

how terrible to get the info so late!!! have you contacted them to see if you can still get your goodybag they might send you some free tix too.

Has anyone heard back from the natural history/kinder screening. i've tried all of phunkygals comps for this as ds1 and 2 would be bouncing off the walls for this sweets and dinosaurs lol. Though ds1 has now seen a trailer for gforce so he expects mummy to pluck them out of the air lol

well i;m back from the natural history museum and wow what a place to watch a film it had that cathedral sound as echoed around the big hall as we sat under the large dinosaur. The screen was on the top of the stairs. It was a really good film and the kids loved it.

once again some greedy so and so's have to ruin things. The comp rules clearly stated that goody bags were for children yet adults were taking them so by the time it got to us they had run out. try explaining that to a 7 and 3 year old.

the family in front of us took 5 even though it was 4 of them with only one child amongst them they saw there was none left looked at us smiled and walked off????
They sent a taxi to pick us up and drop us off so that was nice
