Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
After the events of "Ice Age: The Meltdown", life begins to change for Manny and his friends: Scrat is still on the hunt to hold onto his beloved acorn, while finding a possible romance in a female sabre-toothed squirrel named Scratte. Manny and Ellie, having since become an item, are expecting a baby, which leaves Manny anxious to ensure that everything is perfect for when his baby arrives. Diego is fed up with being treated like a house-cat and ponders the notion that he is becoming too laid-back. Sid begins to wish for a family of his own, and so steals some dinosaur eggs which leads to Sid ending up in a strange underground world where his herd must rescue him, while dodging dinosaurs and facing danger left and right, and meeting up with a one-eyed weasel known as Buck who hunts dinosaurs intently.

Those who attended the Up showing got to see a trailer for it and it looked awesome!
I would love to watch this, can't wait to see it either.

Re: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Saw a trailer for this at Transformers 2 last night. A good proportion of the audience (including myself) simultaneously went "I thought it was a kids' film!" (even if they didn't say it their gasps said it all haha) as one of the characters says "I thought you were a female!"

LOL. I thought this was brilliantly funny, the whole cinema erupted at that moment. To be honest, I think animated movies are wasted on kids anyway!

Never cared for the Ice Age films, found them a little too dull, Blue Sky's best work has been Horton Hears a Who, insanely funny film and well made, panders a bit but mostly is just a solid film.

Can't wait for it too! More so since I saw the trailer at the UP screening! I've been a fan since the first one! And I'm real proud I met Sid and Scrat today while at Leicester Square for West End Live

Re: Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs
This film is being shown this morning at 11 o'clock in multiple locations as a preview. There were several competitions to win tickets to take your Dad along on Father's Day! (I hope you've all remembered!)
I was sorely tempted to enter a few myself....
But I am going up to the Metro Centre shortly for a shopping expedition, so I may just pop along to the Odeon, and see what's going on (and try to blag my way in if I can!

Have just entered a comp for a Birmingham screeing as it's at the weekend, so if we win we can take some of OH's family along!
