Why is there a competition for Get Close Grease tickets next week when you can get them so easily by printing out a ticket? Even the Picturehouses provide the link on their website.
Just realised I should be at Breakfast at Tiffany's just now...

Re: Get Close Film Festival
Did anyone go to see the Notebook tonight? I decided to stick with it as I still hadn't seen it, even after all these years. It's never really appealed to me as I thought it looked a bit boring but I was pleasently suprised.
I thought it was a very good film although I did find it very uplifting and depressing at the same time. Ryan Gosling was fantastic in the role. It is probably one of the saddest films I've seen in a while, especially once I realised the connection between the reader and the story he was telling. Definitely a weepy. 8/10.

Re: Get Close Film Festival
I saw it in Edinburgh last night. Like opas I hadn't ever seen it either and was glad I went.
the only dry eye in the house and person not sniffling was the 1 bloke in the front row!!!
I really enjoyed it; it was beautifully told but a pure weepy!!
