Just seen this at a packed haymarket.

One word to describe was boring. Why did I waste 2 hours of my life on this film. The children smoking was awful and not needed!

OMG the reviews for this are not very good. I couldn't face the tube journey tonight so I gave my tickets to a work colleague who is a bit of a francophile. She was so excited to see this, wonder if she is going to be cursing me tomorrow :D .

How was the Q&A or did you all manage to sneak out??

Me and my husband really enjoyed this. I suppose it helps knowing the subject to begin with otherwise can't imagine that many people even knowing who he was! Thought it was a great insite as to how he became the person he did. It just shows that you can be really unattractive but still attract some really beautiful women with your personality. Hope for all of us then!

Went to see this at Haymarket last night and I hated it. Probably the most boring film I've seen! I honestly think the film itself was more about the director than it was about Gainsbourg.

I had tickets for it yesterday at Haymarket, didn't go in though as we were waiting for a friend who turned up late and we weren't able to contact him so we went to get something to eat. Turns up he went in to see it anyway, and walked out after 30minutes, saying it was one of the worst films he's ever seen. Glad I didn't go now.
