Ah raj101, being a trainee doctor do you get access to free (or very cheap) cinema and theatre tickets? My friend who was a trainee doctor (she is fully qualified now) used to get deals through her uni/placements- although that was several years ago. Has that contributed to your ability to access 78 free films this year? Or have you just seen 78 films (some free, some pa*d for) this year? That is an impressive amount, rivalling Beate's dedication!

nooo, you can say it - it just means i been a lazy barstool! not really worked more than 15 hours a week for the past three months.....shocking, really. i mean, your 35 is a good tally for someone who is working in a real job.

hey, Opas - i dont get freebies for training in this field, i must look into that! i did have free cineworld vouchers for student magazine contributions, but my stock is all gone. :( Now, if you learn anything else about free tickets for medical students i am all ears, cheers!

Are you at a London uni? Maybe she volunteered for extra work/assignments and got them as 'rewards'. She did seem to put in a lot of hours. But as I said this was a while ago, early 2000s - gosh almost 10 years ago! Can't believe a decade has past so quickly 8O

Relating to showfilmfirst - has anyone noticed a glitch this morning, whereby tickets are showing as available for Going the Distance on 17/08, but there is no clickable dot? I looked at other showfilm first codes and this is happening for them too.
Preferred cinemas:
Weekdays: Central London (all West End), West India Quay, Greenwich O2, Vue Islington
Weekends: Greenwich (O2, Odeon, PH), Vue Stratford City, Stratford PH

Show Filmfirst issue

#249 Post by mehak_327 » Tue Aug 10, 2010 1:52 pm

Hi,

So I've gotten a code from Show film first. The thing is I can view the cinemas where the tickets are available but cannot find anywhere to get those tickets !! Am I missing out on something obvious button that I should be clicking on ?

Thanks

there should be a clickable dot next to the cinema choices...what code are you using?
