Has anyone else seen this yet? Only a limited release but I was able to see it in comfort at the lovely Apollo. It has been compared to "Ghost" (I can see why but explaining would spoil it for anyone planning to see it and unaware of the plot) but the film it most reminded me of was "Il Postino", both for the seaside setting and the sentiments.

Re: Undertow
I caught a press screening last week, the time I was gonna go before that, I got an Inception ticket instead.
Wasn't really a fan, it was nice looking, but it was too long for it's limited plot, and I never cared for the characters.
But, for a boring film, it was nice looking.

Gosh, how do you get into a press screening, Ethanrunt?! Luckily I didn't find it boring and I think the slow pace suited the character development. We agree about the scenic setting, anyway, and I always like to see actors who are completely unfamiliar to me.

Re: Undertow
I hadn't even heard about this until now...I'm slightly intrigued by the premise.
The David Gordon Green film of the same title is a staggeringly brilliant piece of work.
