No one expected a masterpiece, but I don't think anyone expected so much talking and very little horror. I haven't seen a single good review yet, it's opening in the States this weekend, I see dire results coming for this film. I really hope it is the last exorcism for these producers.

Am I invisible, or are you just feeling very sorry for this git who happens to like the Last exorcism? cos I gave it a good review (sort of) ;)

Plus its on 83% on Rotten Tomatoes, granted, its only 6 critic reviews but 5 is positive, just one negative. It really isnt as bad as everyone here is making it out to be. I understand the outcry, the film has been excessively hyped up with some brilliant marketing and it simply cant live up to those expectations. Also, its a completely scare free experience which is its major downfall, alienating its target audience that wants the sht scare out of them. But it is still enjoyably watchable film for its main lead, and interesting spin on your usual exorcist storylines. The very end was absolutely bleh though.

Opps....let me go and read your review again! My apologies! I actually want to read what some professional film critics are writing about this film

EDIT: I just read your comments, you didn't say that much about liking it!

 not my last comment about the screen, the comment before that 2 pages back ;) (unless you think "enjoy" is not in the same league as "like", lol)

Awww yes, but they need to promote the film as a drama then rather than a horror

I saw this yesterday and it's definitely a unique take on these exorcism type of movies. It was slightly reminiscent of Paranormal Activity which was awesome. I'd rate this at 7/10 . What does everybody else think?

Page 3 of the Metro today, there's an ad "The scariest movie you'll see all year" from a reviewer from The Daily Mirror. I think he should look for another job and they must have given him lots to drink at the press screening
